CMSR participated in the 11th Slovenian Development Days on October 2 and 3, 2023

The purpose of the Slovenian Development Days is to present the importance and achievements of development and humanitarian activities to the Slovenian public.

The main event with two high-level panels took place on Monday, October 2, 2023, in Ljubljana. The morning part was devoted to the challenges of development cooperation with partner countries, and the afternoon to humanitarian ones. At the development panels, high-ranking guests from the European Union, international organizations, the European Confederation of Non-Governmental Organizations, and representatives of the domestic professional public discussed new visions and partnerships for development cooperation in times of growing global crises and threats to peace, security, and respect for human rights.

Discussions on private sector involvement in international development cooperation and the presentation of the Global Gateway strategy were held on October 3. At the discussion, the Director of the CMSR, Mr. Dejan Prešiček, presented the functioning of the CMSR and actively participated in the discussion on the involvement of the private sector in international development cooperation.
