CMSR Managing Director Dejan Prešiček and Head of the Department of International Development Cooperation Mojca Kopše hosted Honorary Consul of the Republic of Slovenia in Dakar, Senegal Mr. Mamadou Moustapha SARR and his delegation.
They discussed potential cooperation opportunities, projects and initiatives that two countries could undertake in the near future.
Honoured guests see the CMSR as a key partner in promoting cooperation, investment and trade between Slovenia and Senegal.
The establishment of the Slovenian consulate in the Senegalese capital marks a significant step in the consolidation of ties between Slovenia and Senegal and shows the immense importance of mutually beneficial collaboration for economic development, cultural promotion and trade between Slovenia and Senegal.
Senegal, officially the Republic of Senegal, is a country in West Africa. Economic and political capital is Dakar. Senegal covers a land area of almost 197,000 square kilometres and has a population of around 17 million. The state is a unitary presidential republic; since the country's foundation in 1960, it has been recognized as one of the most stable countries on the African continent.
